Scouts must be checked for proper equipment before leaving,
It may be cold and rainy so come prepared with rain gear and warm clothing, boots are essential.

Parents, If you are bringing your son to the pickup point please be prepared to drive him and other         scouts to the camp in needed.

We expect to depart for the camp at 6:30 PM Friday evening.

        Permission slips are required.

ARRIVAL AT THE CAMPSITE.
There are two documents attached that describe the procedures we have to follow to unload, park and travel around at the site.
One is the site map and the other is the parking rules and directions.
They are serious about everyone following them.

The scouts will have to carry their gear from the cars to the campsite.

DEPARTURE FROM CAMP
As always, Scouts may come and go as needed.  Please let me know what your individual schedule is.

We are planning to be finished packing and ready to go home at 10: AM on Sunday.  Drivers should plan to be there by 10:00.  All roads around the site are one way so please follow directions as it will be somewhat chaotic.

OTHER HELPFUL HINTS FROM THE MANAGERS

PLEASE distribute the attachment to EVERY DRIVER that you expect will come to the event.

There are important SAFETY and PARKING/TRAFFIC flow information in the attachment that each driver MUST know.

NOTE - ONLY specific vehicles with TROOP GEAR may be driven to the campsites; unloaded within 5-minutes +/- and then moved to the parking lot.

Scout gear must be carried from the parking lot. Bring a wagon or wheelbarrow if you want.

PLEASE make sure everyone knows NOT to climb on or even touch the plastic fence around each campsite. You break it - YOU buy it!!!
NO! Your granny cannot drive to the camping area to "visit" you.
