The Link for tonight's meeting is below.

The National Capital Area Council has issued a set of instructions on preparing for resuming in-person activities.   We are in the process of reviewing and planning for a safe reentry into live scouting.  Montgomery County has begun to enter Phase 2 of the recovery.  We do not expect to have indoor meetings until the Church opens up its facilities.  We will be continuing our Electronic meetings.  We are considering some small group, Patrol Activities outside with proper social distancing.

The Troop is in the process of setting up and conducting a Virtual Campout at home for the scouts.

Here is how it would work.
Date: Saturday, June 27th at 1 to 3 PM. 
    Each scout would set up a tent or shelter in their own back yard. (If they have one), otherwise they could do this in the house,  videoing the activity over Zoom with the rest of the campers.
Date: Saturday, June 27th at 4:30 to 6 PM
    Each Scout would prepare and cook a simple dinner in the backyard while videoing the activity on Zoom with the rest of the troop. 
Date: Saturday,  June 27th at 8 to 9 PM
    The troop would hold a video Campfire with games, story telling and skits.  Scouts would then spent the night in their tent  (or not),
Date: Sunday June 28th at 9 to 10 AM
    The troop would Zoom a roundup meeting to discuss how the night went.
All this is optional and would require parental assistance and and approval.
We will discuss the event at tonight's Troop meeting.
