Fwd: Webelos Weekend Plan

The plan for Webelos Weekend.
Webelos Weekend is a recruiting event where scouts can demonstrate their skills to Webelos to get them to continue in Scouting. Most of the Troops and Packs will be participating at the event.
 
It will be held at the Madison Fields Farm, 21355 Big Woods Road, Dickerson, MD
October 25 thru the 27th.
 
We will meet at SJB's parking lot at 6 PM on Friday the 25th of October.
Scouts will have their gear ready for inspection, (those needing Tenderfoot Requirement 1.a).
We will depart for camp at 6:30 PM.
 
Parents are to provide transportation to and from the Event.
If you are dropping your Scout off, be prepared to drive if we do not have sufficient transportation.
the Permission Slip has a sign up block for Drivers, Please indicate where you can help.
 
All Scouts must have a current (within this year) Scout Medical form (Parts A and B) signed by the parent to participate in the event.  This is for your scout's protection. The form can be found on the Troop's Web site, www.Troop1441.com .  The Permission Slip is also required. Bring it to Monday's meeting (10/21).
 
We will need to carry our equipment from the parking area to the campsite so if any one has a beach type wagon we can use please let me know.
 
We will set up camp on Friday evening.  Snacks for everyone.
 
Saturday Schedule
6:30 Wakeup /Cook and Eat Breakfast/Cleanup.  We will be doing Patrol cooking.  This must all be done in a efficient and timely manner by...
8:30 AM for the opening ceremony.
After the opening ceremony the Scouts will operate the fire building site from 9AM until.....
Noon    when lunch will be prepared/eaten and Cleaned up. Then....
At 1 PM Scouts will Continue operating the fire building site until 4 PM when
The Fire building Contest will be held from 4 to 5 PM.
5:00 PM,  Patrols prepare/eat/cleanup dinner.
                Webelos from P499 and P205 have been invited to join us for dinner. 
8:00 PM  The Troop will attend the Campfire and present a Skit.
10: PM    Quiet Time/Bed time/ Lights out.
Sunday
7:00 AM  Get up, Prepare and Eat Breakfast, CLEANUP, Packup and be ready to leave at 10AM
Parents transporting Scouts home should arrive at camp by 10 AM.
 
Scouts may come and got as their schedules permit,  please indicate Their Schedules on the Permission Slip.
