We have an opportunity to do a service project at the Franciscan Monastery, who has hosted our last two Catholic Retreats on their grounds. Scouts are needed on:
 
Saturday, December 7, 2019 starting at 9:00 AM
to
ASSIST IN THE SET UP OF THE LUMINARIA
at the
Franciscan  Monastery of the Holy Land
1400 Quincy Street NE
Washington, DC
 
The Monastery Garden Guild will be glad to feed the Scouts in exchange for their service.  The lunch following the set-up is a pot luck event so parents are welcome to come as well.
While this is closer to the units in Washington DC, I have included all the leaders in ADW in case there is interest in participating in this event. Also, it does not have to be limited to only Catholic scouts, it should be a wonderful experience for all scouts. So entire unit should fell welcome to attend. Please let me know if you plan to attend. Thanks and I hope you have blessed Thanksgiving Holiday with your families.
