TROOP 1441    SCOUTS BSA
June 3, 2019
We are jumping into June already, seems like we just said, "Happy New Year".
Summer Camp (June 30), is coming up quickly and so is our Philmont High Adventure trip (7/20/2019).  The Scouts and Adults have been preparing for Philmont with weekend trips backpacking locally, trying out their equipment and tooling up their Skills.

The Troop will be taking 15 scouts and 6 leaders to Camp Olmsted, Goshen Scout Reservation in Goshen Virginia starting the Week of June 30th.   New Scouts will follow the
TrailsHead program which will allow them to earn three merit badges and complete many of the requirements for Scout, Tenderfoot, Second and First Class.  Scouts will sleep in large two person platform tents or the new Adirondack huts. The older scouts will pursue meritbadges throughout the week.
