Webelos Weekend
The Saturday events went very well and the Scouts did a great job with the Fire building Event under overcast skies and an occasional sprinkle.  The Webelos Spaghetti Dinner went very well with no one going hungry.  Hopefully we will have many of the Webelos join us as Scouts.  A number of Scouts opted to leave Saturday evening as reports of rain were heard.  Those remaining helped to batten down the hatches as we anticipated the storm.
It arrived about three AM on the backs of some very gusty and whipping winds.  It came in intense sheets with intermittent lulls of regular rain.  By 7 AM, It was a continuous heavy rain that soaked everything.  The campsite got packed up and policed while we awaited transportation home.  Everything was waterlogged  and we will have to get some wet stuff out of the trailer today.  The experience will make for some good stories once everything dries out, including the scouts and leaders.
