Fwd: T1441 Campout to Camp Boonsboro, Nov 15 thru Nov 17

To all scout parents,

The troop will require drivers to transport scouts to Camp Boonsboro on Friday Nov 15, and also back to their homes on Nov 17.  Those parents that have already completed the BSA Driver Information Sheet are requested to act as drivers for this event, as the camp site in Frederick County is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours distant from Silver Spring.  Those parents that wish to drive, but have not completed the BSA Driver Information Sheet, may do so by completing the form (copy attached) and submitting it to the troop leader at SJB church, the place of departure for the event this Friday evening.  If you can drive please respond  in advance to Stephanie Madrigal, Transportation Coordinator (email:   friendezra@yahoo.com), or myself (email: benallen8@omcast.net) if you can be a driver.

Drivers will need to arrive at the SJB church on Friday, Nov 15, at 6:00PM to pick up scouts and their gear. Departure time will be at 6:30PM.  Drivers picking up scouts on Sunday will need to arrive at the campsite in Boonsboro, NLT11AM on Sunday, Nov 17, so that scouts can return home around mid day.  If we have 24 scouts attending, we will require about 6  drivers for transpiration up to the camp site, and 6 drivers to pick up scouts on Sunday for the return to Silver Spring.
